Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. We also use similar browser storage mechanisms (localStorage, sessionStorage) for the same purposes. This policy covers all such storage.
2. What We Use
AlgoTrace uses only strictly necessary storage — storage that is essential for the Service to function. We do not use any advertising, marketing, or analytics tracking cookies.

3. What We Do Not Use
- ·Advertising or retargeting cookies.
- ·Third-party analytics tracking scripts (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel).
- ·Social media tracking pixels.
- ·Cross-site tracking of any kind.
4. No Cookie Consent Banner
Because we use only strictly necessary storage, no cookie consent banner is required under the EU ePrivacy Directive or similar regulations. Strictly necessary storage does not require consent as it is essential for the Service to operate.
5. Managing and Clearing Storage
You can clear cookies and browser storage at any time via your browser settings. Note that clearing this storage will log you out of AlgoTrace and reset your theme preference.
For the Chrome Extension: you can clear extension storage by removing the AlgoTrace extension from Chrome (chrome://extensions/) or by signing out from within the extension settings.
6. Future Changes
If we introduce any non-essential cookies or analytics tools in the future (e.g. privacy-preserving aggregate analytics), we will update this policy, notify users, and implement any required consent mechanisms before doing so.
