Refund & Billing Policy

1. Free Plan
The Free plan is free of charge indefinitely. No payment method is required to use the Free plan.
2. Paid Plans
AlgoTrace offers Pro and Max subscription plans, available on a monthly or annual billing cycle.

Applicable taxes (e.g. GST for Indian users) may be applied at checkout. International prices exclude taxes, which are collected by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record.
- ·Subscriptions are billed in advance at the start of each billing period.
- ·Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- ·Annual plans are billed as a single upfront charge.
3. Refund Policy
First-charge refund (7-day guarantee). If you are a first-time paid subscriber and the Service is not functioning as described, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial payment. Email billing@algotrace.tech with the subject line "Refund Request" within 7 days of your payment.
After 7 days. No refunds are issued for the current billing period after the 7-day window has passed, as access to the Service remains active for the full period.
Annual plans. You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid annual period. No pro-rata refunds are issued for unused months within an annual plan, except where required by applicable consumer law.
Duplicate charges. If you are charged more than once for the same period due to a billing error, we will refund the duplicate charge within 5–7 business days upon verification.
4. Cancellation
- ·Cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings → Subscription.
- ·Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- ·You retain access to all paid features until the period ends.
- ·Cancellation does not delete your account or data — you will continue on the Free plan.
5. Failed Payments
If a scheduled payment fails, we will attempt one retry. If the retry also fails, your account will be automatically downgraded to the Free plan at the end of the current billing period. You can re-subscribe at any time from Account Settings.
6. Payment Processors
- ·Indian users: payments are processed by Razorpay. AlgoTrace is the seller of record for Indian transactions.
- ·International users: payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments collects and remits applicable local taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) on our behalf.
7. Plan Changes
- ·Upgrades (e.g. Pro → Max): take effect immediately; you are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period.
- ·Downgrades: take effect at the end of the current billing period.
8. Disputes & Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact billing@algotrace.tech before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank. We will resolve legitimate billing issues promptly. Initiating an unjustified chargeback may result in account suspension pending resolution.
9. Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. For existing paid subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
